Student Health Examination Guidelines
Welcome to Chaoyang University of Technology!
To ensure the health and safety of all students and faculty, and in accordance with the School Health Act, the Regulations for Student Health Examinations, the Communicable Disease Control Act, and the university’s Guidelines for Student Health Examinations and Disease Prevention, all incoming students are required to complete a health examination and submit the relevant report.
Health examinations are essential for early detection of potential health issues, enabling timely follow-up and treatment, and preventing the spread of infectious disease on campus. This ensures a safe and healthy learning environment. Additionally, in the event of a medical emergency, your health report will serve as an important reference for medical care and counseling support.
Important Reminder:
Failure to complete the health examination, submit all required documents, or provide truthful and accurate information may affect your personal health as well as the public health of the campus. If others’ health is endangered as a result, penalties may be imposed under Article 62 of the Communicable Disease Control Act, including imprisonment of up to three years, detention, or a fine of up to NT$500,000.
We kindly urge all new students to take the health examination seriously and cooperate fully to help maintain a healthy and safe campus for everyone.
Note:
For health examination guidelines specific to international students, overseas Chinese students, and students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao, please refer to the Taiwan CDC website.
Sincerely,
Health Services Section
